Our daily quips are slowly taking the lead over actual one on one conversations. Joe and I work opposite shifts often. Our quality time is limited. Throughout the daily we send quick emails, texts and maybe share a short simple phone call.
During our free time at home we are constantly on the phones with family and friends. There are calls, texts and emails to be answered. We read and update social medias. We follow local and international news. Phones and computers are necessary in today’s world, but the sounds and tones of conversation grow our relationships.
We still date. It is important to spend time talking, encouraging, planning, and fellow shipping without eruptions of phones, televisions, and computers. Remember to unplug during your date and enjoy the sound of your person’s voice!
